Bio[]
Äme Anderberg (Season 1 to 11) is one of the most memorable riders to ever have raced. With three world champion titles, 2 yellow jerseys in Germany and multiple seasons in top of the ranking including one season as number one, Swedish Äme Anderberg wrote himself into the history books and promising talents has since then been compared to the impressive climber.
Famous for his impressive climbing talent and abilities, Äme Anderberg has won most of the most prestigious climbing races, though he never managed to win the prestigious Zürich-Bern-Zürich which seemed to have him cursed.
Äme Anderberg started his career on the Swedish team, Monsters Inc., where he first showed his talent in his home country by finishing second in Stockholm Tour. Here a talent scout from Team Zyte happened to discover his potential. Team Zyte shortly after signed the Swede who would stay with the team ever after.
When Äme Anderberg finished his career in Season 11, he went on to create his own trademark by going into the development of wheels, primarily through graphic work and sales management, while letting others more suitable be in charge for the technical aspects.
Just before his retirement, Äme Anderberg joined the national team when it was established in Season 11 and competed in 3 races in the national jersey finishing twice on the podium.
